WARNING: LOTS of juicy pictures ahead!
Stef, the most amazing nail polish freak ever sent me a little present in the mail! She knew I was lemming Chemistry 519 after seeing pics of it on her blog so she went out and got me a bottle. Awwwwwww!
These photos are all 2 coats over 1 coat of Black. I felt this made the color 'POP' more. Am I right or am I right?
All taken inside under artificial light.
So even tho this looked totally awesome as it was, I knew I needed to add some stamping so I did with Warm Black.
Outside in overcast natural light.
I don't know much about Chemistry and trying to find out more. As far as I know they are an Australian company, their colors are dupes for Ozotic Pro and Artform polishes and they are proving extremely hard to source. If any Aussies know of any outlets in the Victorian area or any online shops, please let me know!
Thanks Stef!

Space Cadet....Shattered!
Orly Space Cadet is a tricky little thing to photograph. It's also a tricky thing to apply. One coat looks horrible, two coats look opaque enough but somehow transparent around the edges, and 3 coats doesn't really make a lot of difference.
See how the tips really don't have polish on them? The polish kind of 'drags' back when dry. Weird.
Of course, it's gorgeous enough by itself...but when did I ever leave gorgeous alone?
So I shattered it with some OPI and finished with a coat of Seche QD. I really, really liked this combo and was loathe to take it off. But I got a present in the mail which required immediate swatching....stay tuned!

OPI Extravagence
I have featured this color before but it's just so ridiculously lovely, it's coming back for an encore.
2 coats of OPI DS Extravagence and stamped with Warm Black Konading. Finihsed with a coat of Seche QD. First photo is under artificial light, second photo is outside in natural sunlight.
Isn't it glorious? Not a holo as such, more of a scattered rainbow goodness thru a Berry Burgundy. I also had a large chop down of my nails. I much prefer them this length but they grow so quickly in this freezing cold weather. I thought bodies had a shut down during Winter and didn't grow as much? Except for waistlines that is.
Have you entered my new Sigma giveaway yet?

OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys & Desire
Starting into my untrieds again is one from OPI, Suzie Loves Cowboys. A milk chocolate brown, nothing absolutely fantastic but probably a staple color to have in your collection. I felt it was definitely boring by itself so added stamping in DS Desire and accented the ring finger.
Finished with 1 coat of Seche QD. This and Houston we have a Purple are the only 2 colors I got ffrom the OPI Texas collection. Houston I promptly gave away after swatching and as I said Cowboys is on the boring side.
Did I miss any awesome colors from this collex?

Makeover Completed!
So...whatcha' all think of my new blog look? I was tired of the all black and feel that photos stand out much better against a white background. I am also tired of my blog name and would love to change it to something else, but unfortunately I would lose all you guys along with it! So the Konadlicious stays for now. I also wanted a Vintage theme inserted into it as I plan to bring that side of my life into this blog a little more. More Vintage hauls and outfits as well as keeping my regular nail polish posts.
The lovely Kate from scathingly-brilliant.blogspot.com did my header for me and I think it looks FAB! She had it done and emailed thru within a day, plus sent me all the hard copies in different formats AND promised to change any wording in the future if I do change my URL. How's that for service? Her blog is super cute so you should go over and have a read. Her Etsy store is here.
Thanks Kate, you ROCK!
I also added an ABOUT ME page to the header. I have answered a few questions there plus added a few tidbits and photos. If you any requests let me know and I can add it. I also linked my email in to the Contact tab.
I want to know what you guys think! After all, you have to look at it everyday!

New Skirt, Cute TuddlyWiddlies & Awesome Nails!
This is a mashup post of everything that happened in one morning!
First, a new 50's circle skirt arrived in the mail from eBay! It has an awesome print of Spanish Flamenco dancers all around. And of course, it's red and black which are almost everyday colors for me.
Worn with my frilly red and black petticoat from Hell Bunny, a cropped beaded cardi which is 50's Vintage, my suede pumps from Hong Kong and a cheapo polkadot top.
Yes, I KNOW...my boobs look GINORMOUS!!! They are too big at the best of times but I had no idea until I looked at these photos that they looked positvely KING KONG-ESQUE.
How embarassing to know that I went out in public looking like this...... no wonder DH was all over me licking his lips.
OMG, there are even nipples.....I just wanna die......it was COLD peoples!!
I didn't have time to do anything remotely Vintage with my hair because I was too busy.......
Giving my girls 40's makeovers!! I can't believe I got Miss 3's hair to stay in a Victory Roll! The other side of her hair wouldn't stay in one as she took to that side with a pair of scissors recently, imitating Rapunzel on Tangled.....I was very upset to see so much hair on the ground.
Miss 10 looked absolutely divine with her rolls and butterfly hair clip at the back. She is going to be a heartbreaker and already her Father is trembling in his boots.
Their matching dresses are from Oilily.
This is 2 coats of Jessica Cherrywood. It was so divine and applied so amazingly well that I have instantly fallen in love with it and it's now my favourite Vamp Burgundy. I love how it's not too dark and doesn't look black after 2 coats.
Pics were taken outside in natural light. Finished with 1 coat of Seche QD and no stamping cause I just wanted to look at this Vampy goodness.
So, that was my Sunday morning....what did you guys get up to?
