80's In-Ya-Face Neons!

I was in a neon mood the other night so did an 80's style manicure. Only probem is, it didn't match my 40's dress I wore the next day.

I used 2 coats each of: Jessica King Tuts Gems, Color Club's Warhol, Twiggie, Wham Pow and Almost Famous. All were over a coat of white to make the color pop. Stamped with Warm Black Konad and finished with a coat of Seche QD.

This Blog

OK, every time I post about something Vintage, I lose followers...as in several at a time.    While followers do drop every now and then, this is normal and I do understand.  I myself have stopped following a couple of blogs after they have changed direction into something I'm not really interested in.   But I lose at least 6 people every time something vintage related pops up on this blog.....and my widdle feelings are starting to get hurt!

This blog is not just about nail polish.  It's about ME...ie: this is my blog!  You will see outfit posts, family shots, day outings, reviews, lust lists and of course nail polish.  My family reads this and this is one of the main outlets of how they keep up to date with me, my happenings and my kids.

I am not after follower numbers, this is evident in how I very rarely feature 'free' products as I don't go out of my way to acquire any nor bombard email Companies asking for some.  And I don't have constant giveaways to lure anyone over to Konadlicious.
I love, LOVE, love to post everyday to people who *want* to read my blog.

So, low down is.....please follow me if you are interested in a bit of everything.   If you just want nail polish,  you may want to unfollow now as this blog may not be the one for you.

Rant over.

This $60,000 diamond ring would look especially good on MY finger.

A trip to Hong Kong.

This gorgeous 50's sunhat.  Why does it have to be $130???

Layering Glitter Gal & Ozotics

One coat of Glitter Gal Black Holo and one coat each of Ozotic 528 and 530 from the Elytra range. Awesome, right?

Looking back, I should have done 2 coats of the glitters, just to make it POP.

Bottle shot of 528.

All photos taken in natural sunlight.

Hello Kitty Luvs Cookies

I'm so LOVING this mani! I think I'm super dooper clever.

Two coats of Orly Au Champagne. This color is gorgeous. Gorgeous. Just go and buy it if you haven't already done so. What my pics don't show is that it dries to a semi matte with a gorgeous pearlescent sheen.

Then a couple of coats of Nubar Black Polka Dots, taking care to pick out the larger black dots. Stamped with a large Hello Kitty design. She was a bit big for my nail so I did her 'peeking' out from the top. Super cute!

And speaking of Tiki Tearaway.....I placed an order with them and 5 weeks later asked where it was. They said that it had been sent weeks ago but immediately offered to replace it since it's obviously gone AWOL in the postal system. They then resent my order and when it arrived it contained an extra Hawaiian orchid for free. This was super nice of the girls and really wasn't necessary. So here are more pics of Tiki Tearaway flowers and feel free to click on the link to check out their Etsy store.

Phone pics.  Did you notice the hummingbird in the middle?  Super cute!
