Orly Flicker Butterfly Nails

Yes, I know I'm in a butterfly phase.  But they are so prettyyyyyyyyyy.

This time I decided to reverse the wing colors and do white detail with black dots.  I stamped the wing lines with a nail plate then hand painted in the fill.  Obviously I hand painted them as it isn't the neatest job.
I love Orly Flicker and the firelight glow it gives off under every sort of light.  Above photos were under artificial and below is natural light.

I'll be 'over' butterflies soon....promise.

Pinup Girl Clothing Cherry Dress & New Floral Glasses

The Pinup Girl Jenny dresses are so versatile, you can wear them in Winter with a coat thru to Spring with a cardi to Summer with a bolero.  Because I just don't DO spaghetti straps *any more* I prefer a little something covering my shoulders.  You young'un things can wear your Jenny's in your glorious shoulder baring state.

My fabulous new cat eye sunnies are from Sheinside.  Their construction is wonderful, each flower is bolted onto the frame!  A bargain at $15

Holographic Butterfly Wings

Is there anything more pretty than a wonderful holographic polish?  And then one stamped with butterfly wings?!  FNUG Futuristica is especially pretty in a pale blue holographic.

This time I used the FNUG Aqua Fix base coat and it made a huge difference to the application of this polish.  Usually holo's go on quite patchy, but I was able to get 2 smooth coats with the Aqua Fix.

Bernie Dexter Novelty Dress with Cherries and Kissy Lips

 It's finally Spring!

While just a tad chilly still, I needed to pull out a new cardigan from Pinup Girl Clothing.  This cropped cardi is a gorgeous cool Mint color and very reasonably priced.  The whole ensemble screamed for red cherries and kissy shoes.  So I obliged.

Folder Binder Sticker Nails

This is a modern take on vintage half moon nails using folder binder stickers.  Grab one, cut it in half, pop it on your nail, paint over it and whip it off!  Easy peasy!

Just don't let it dry too much or it will take your polish off with the sticker.  A thick one coat is best then take that sticker off straight away.  If you do mess up, you have the beauty of a bare nail under the red so you can get your nail polish remover pen or paint brush and fix up the half moons.

Finish with a coat of clear top coat.

What else have you done with binder stickers?
