Orly Enchanted Forest & Skinfood Holo
I got this in a mini swap with one of my lovely followers, Dorlene from QLD. This was on my wish list and I think it's gorgeous, Orly Enchanted Forest in 2 coats. A tiny bit of Orly Glam Rock Konading on the ring fingers, no top coat.
Finish wise I am a little disappointed as a couple of nails have showable bubble pitt marks, I used no top coat which may have helped to smooth out the finish. I also had sheet marks the following morning, which has never happened to me before considering my nails are finished hours before I go to bed. Has anyone else had trouble with this color?
I had a disaster with my photography hand, yesterday I broke my pointer and middle nails off to the almost quick, putting my sneakers on of all things! So from now on, I have to include photos of my right hand, which will look horrible as I cannot hold and take photos with my left hand properly! It's a disaster!!
I included one pic of my poor nails (which actually don't look too bad in dark colored polish), but I am afraid you will have to bear with me and my substandard photos for a few weeks until my nails grow out a tad. Poor me :(
This holo grooviness was another swap from Dorlene, a brown holographic from a brand called SkinFood. I googled this brand and found that it is from Singapore, but they don't ship International and ebay don't have any on at the moment, so looks like this will be my one and only! The color looks similar to China Glaze TMI swatches that I have seen online.
The formula is very thin, this was 2 coats and could have done with a third at the very least. Lots of holo under articificial lights which is super nice.
Thanks Dorlene! xx

L.A Girls RockStar
This polish looks wonderful in the bottle, black with a purple glitter sheen which flashes to blue and green in some lights. On the nails however, it's a shiny black with only a little bit of purple glitter in the sunlight. A bit disappointing but the formula is wonderful and opaque in 2 thin coats.
I then Konaded it with Bundle Monster plates and added red glitter stripes. One coat of Seche QD to make it smooth.

Gosh Holographic & Giveaway Reminder
This is the second time I have posted this polish on my blog but I think it's worthy of another post! Since I don't own any Nfu-Oh or Chanel Holo's, this is the 'blingiest' in my collection and the most 'true', ie; not a scattered glittery holo like the Milani holographics.
This is 3 coats and on very close inspection you will see tiny bald spots near the cuticles, but I wasn't going to waste polish on a 4th coat. I wasn't in a Konading mood last night so had a play around with the cartoon Konad plate. This'll do for a day or two! 1 coat of Seche QD added on top, and this did not seem to lessen the holo effect.
***A reminder that my giveaway closes in nearly 2 weeks. Find it here, http://konadlicious.blogspot.com/2010/07/my-second-huge-aussie-giveaway.html , and don't forget to enter!****

Massini Slammin Red
Massini or Studio M Slammin Red is gorgeous in blog pictures and it was pretty much first on my Lemmings List. Once I got my greedy little hands on it thanks to the wonderful Lady Lacquer, aka Court, I couldn't wait to try it.
The color is gorgeous, a deep but vibrant red with loads of rainbow holographic glitter, but the formula is dreadful and about the worst I have ever come across! I added an obscene amount of thinner which seems to have done absolutely nothing for the thick gloopiness, and I was quite disappointed at the time thinking application was going to be a nightmare. But this mani is only 1 coat, it is and did apply thickly and gloopily but I manage to control it on the brush before applying it *slowly* around my nails.
This color is best under artificial lights where the holo shimmer is at it's strongest. In natural light it dims to a glittery red as the 2nd pic shows. However, it's not as 'blingy' as Purple Medallion and twice as 'rough' in the glitter. This mani had 2 coats of Seche QD and it needed another 2 more at least to get a smooth finish.

Swap Swatches & Pls Checkout This Blog
I still have Purple Medallion on my fingy's so have some swap swatches for you.
All are 2 coats.
This is Climax 660 by Rimmel. It's a gorgeous Purple duochrome and was opaque in 2 thin coats which was surprising for a polish on the sheer side.
Next is Pure Ice, Wild Thing. This is a lime green creme and altho I don't have Who the Shrek are you from OPI, I imagine this is pretty close to it.
I LURV this one. Wet and Wild, Morbid. A black with green shimmer. Awesome!
This one was also surprising as it looks sheer but it applies opaque on the nail and has a beautiful Butterfly wing sheen. Petites, Tahitian Green.
This one I was excited about in the bottle, but it dries matte and a bit of an ugly looking matte. After a topcoat it's a beautiful glitter Neon blue. China Glaze Blue Sparrow.
Then I added a coat of Finger Paints holographic Sapphire Shimmer to it and made it pop! Blurry picture only for this one, sorry!
And one of my followers has a super cute blog which I think you should all check out. She puts so much time into her mani's and they look so cute:

Thanks again Court for a rockin' swap!

Massini Purple Medallion
I'm worried that I haven't shown Purple Medallion to it's true magnificence in my pictures. I have also added a small video as well.....can you tell I'm in serious lust with this color?? 2 coats with one coat of Seche QD. It's still slightly rough feeling and a second Seche coat would have been perfect. It's the most magnificent in it's holo glory under artificial light, as the first 3 pics show. It's still super glittery in natural sunlight, like the last pic shows, but not as dazzling. I'm planning on having this one on till it starts to chip, so I'll be posting swatches for the next couple of days!

Super Swap From Lacquer Lady!
The lovely Court from http://lacquerlovely.blogspot.com/ and I did a swap and mine has arrived first! I am sooo thrilled with what I got and Court cheekily and secretly wiped off some of my wish list for me, that naughty little minx!
She got me my highly coveted Massinni's in Slamming Red and Purple Medallion (look at that holo glitter shine peoples, DIVINE!), along with some Hidden Treasure (that brush is awesome and the flakies is way more packed with shine than Nfu-Oh makes, I am surprisingly impressed Sally H), loads of Wet n Wilds, Petites, a gorgeous holo glitter Finger Paints (this puts a beautifu holo shimmer over any color as the base is a very pale blue), a groovy Neon ChG which I had never see before and love, fimo sticks, nail stickers and some Duracolor nail stickers which I have always wanted to try.
And lookee at that HUGE bag of PEANUT BUTTER M&M'S! It says Medium on it but honestly, it's huge. Here in Oz this bag would have been labelled as KING sized.
And after my request, a packet of Twinkies. I had to know what all the fuss was about with Woody Harrelson trying to find one in Zombieland. But honestly guys, these are seriously disgusting! Blechhhhh! What was Woody thinking risking his life against zombies for one of these things???
Thanks again Court for an amazingly fun box, and I hope you feel better soon! xxxx

Aussies!
I have been accumulating USA based polishes for awhile, from etail hauls and ebay buys, but they have arrived as dupes to what I already had or I didn't like the colors. They are good colors tho, glitters and flakies to name a few and all are from good brand names.
So I am searching for another Aussie who has a pile of the same stuff that we can swapover! Send me your rejects and I'll send you mine!
Who's game??? Email me!

Houndstooth KOTD
I have been wanting to do a Houndstooth mani for months and I now can, now that it's freezing cold outside and warms coats are a must. So, this is me matching my coat!
2 coats of L.A Girl White Out with Warm Black Konading and 1 coat of Seche QD.
And my poor pointer snapped off even more yesterday. I think from now on my mani will only show 3 fingers....poor pointer! :(

L.A Colors Power Outage
L.A Colors is a cheap brand to order from Cherry Culture, but the formula is comparable to expensive brands and they have a great range of colors. This is Power Outage from the Color Craze line, it's a gorgeous Fushcia Red with a pink and blue shimmer. 2 coats with Yellow Konading and 1 coat of Seche QD.
I'm not happy with the stamping and the Yellow was a bit of a let-down with the red.

OPI Can U Dig It?
This is another from my untrieds, and it's beautiful! OPI Can you dig it? in 2 coats with China Glaze Hi-Tek Konading and 1 coat of Seche QD.
I only have a few OPI's in my collection as I refuse to pay Australian retail ($19) for them, but I am always impressed with their formula and brush. But I will still refuse to purchase them in Australia, and with them now refusing to supply most e-tailers, I will wait to pick them up cheaply on the Bay!
First pic in natural light, last 2 pics are with flash.

Love em or Leave em & Beware of the Medallion!
I pulled out an untried, Color Club Love em or Leave em. This is a pale, pale Tan brown with a very, very slight holo to it...I thought it would have been more so I was a bit disappointed. 2 thins coats for perfectness, I love Color Club formula. Then I stamped Konad Chocolate Brown with a Bundle Monster plate and added Bronze glitter striping, topped off with a coat of Seche QD.
After the abuse my poor nails got before doing this mani (see below), I really did need something light and subtle!
OK, China Glaze Medallion is a super BLINGY, in ya face, GOLD Holographic Glitter. It's a clear base and it's CRAMMED full of multisized glitters...it's pretty cool. I did 3 coats over nude nails and it covered them pretty much completely. For the whole 24 hours they were on my fingers, all I could think (and dread) about was the removal.....and removal really did SUCK bigtime. I used felt, velvet, cotton pads with Zoya Remove and they all barely worked. I scrubbed my poor, battered nails for over an hour before this glitter came off enough where I could file down the rest from the sides. Altho the polish overall was super cool, I can't bring myself to ever put this on my nails again.

Ulta3 English Rose
I thought I would swatch a color from my upcoming giveaway (from my own stash), this is Aussie brand Ulta3, English Rose, which is a bright true red with a gold shimmer.
2 thin coats for an opaque finish. I painted my ring fingers with my first franken, Milani HD with loads of Holo powder added. I thought HD was not blingy enuff...but it sure is now!
China Glaze Millenium and Konad Red for the stamping and 1 coat of Seche QD.

Chainmaille Charm
Diamond Cosmetics Chainmaille Charm has been wiped off my Wish List thanks to Tiff, and here is my long awaited color in 2 coats. It's a grey, I thought it was a black holo but it's most definately a smokey grey.
**IS there a true black holo out there???**
I Konaded it with Color Club Fashion Addict for a subtle holographic look.
All pics are under artifical light with flash, bar the third pic which is in natural light and no flash.
I had a chop of my nails. My poor pointer is getting shorter every week due to peeling of that nail and I took of the edge of my middle finger the day before, so they all got a good cut down...it was all rather sad.
