As well as sponsoring my HUGE giveaway with a 7 pack of polishes, Rob from Color Club also sent me my own 7 pack so I could swatch away and show you what one of YOU is going to win on the 1st of March! Yep, Rob ROCKS!
This was 2 coats of Almost Famous over 1 coat of a generic white. I always do neons over a coat of white as it makes the colors blindingly bright. The formula on this was excellent. I have gone thru several yellows and dumped them as the formula was just too thick and gluggy. I Konaded in warm black using my new chez-delaney.com plates and did 1 coat of Seche QD.
All pics taken in natural light with a flash. IRL my nails didn't look streaky at all....damn Macro!
I got an insane amount of comments on this manicure from total strangers while out shopping. I called it my Buzzy Bee mani.
***** So to win this color as well as 30 other polishes, make sure you enter my giveaway here. *****

New Rockabilly Dress by Hell Bunny
I have been reading my giveaway comments and a lot of you have been asking for more photos of makeup and..... well, of me. I think it's all rather strange as I am very boring but I took photos of this dress for you all anyway.
These pics show that I'm starting to get rather bad eye wrinkles so it looks like I am going to have to invest in some foundation to even things out a bit. Anyone got some good brand recommendations?Anyway....I got more new dresses!
This one is from Hell Bunny and has an awesome pinup girl print all over with polkadot detail. The vintage style bolero is from a local clothing store and the wedge shoes are vintage style from Naughty Monkey.
I wore Whoa! eyeshadow by Shelly Frances with my signature MAC Russian Red Lipstick. Who can't wait for Russian Red to be re-released in WONDER FREAKING WOMAN tubing???!!!
Argh, someone restrain me from buying 10 of them.
I wore this to Melbourne yesterday where we took Miss 2.5 to see "Disney Princesses LIVE!" on the stage. We saw Cinderella, Snow White and Belle prance around on the stage wearing lovely, sparkling, glittery dresses. Miss 2.5 thought it was all very exciting. She wore her Snow White costume clutching a billion Princess Barbie style dolls, along with about 100 other little girls who rocked up wearing Disney costumes and clutching same said dolls.
Ahhhhh, the power of advertising to children who can't even speak properly yet.

Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans
I won a small giveaway hosted by Deborah at lvcam.blogspot.com. And instead of only sending me the 2 polishes I won, she also included the 2 Catrice eyeshadow colors on my wishlist! That naughty little Minx.
This color was also high on my wishlist and I am soooo happy I finally have it cause IRL it's even more gorgeous than online pictures show. It's a dark denim blue with lots of blue glitter shimmer in the bottle, but this blue shimmer hardly translates onto the nail. No matter, it's still gorgeous!
If I was real careful I could have gotten away with one coat, but I wasn't and needed a second coat on a few nails. I stamped it with Blue Konading, added a stripe of navy glitter and 1 coat of Seche QD.
Here is a shot of one of my 15th Wedding Anniversary presents from the Sexiest Man On The Planet. He is into animal jewellery so most of my stuff from him is in the shape of some roaring, hopping creature on this planet. This HUGE groovy tiger is embedded with Emeralds, Rubies, Sapphires and Marcasite and he's pretty groovy.

Zoya Casey
My cuticles have gone super funky lately and nothing that I am using is working on softening them up. Anyone got any good tips for super crusty cuticles?
This is my fav shade of polish, I say this a lot I know, but the Vamp colors are my bestest. This was 2 coats of Zoya Casey which was enough for me. It looks less patchy IRL, and I knew I was going to Konad over the top. I used Sally Hansen Burmese Ruby from the Chrome series for the stamping with one of my new Chez-Delaney plates that I featured a couple of days ago. One coat of Seche QD.

Pin Up Couture Train Case
So here is my new makeup case I decided I deserved. It's made by Luxe DeVille for Pinup Couture and I bought it from jbrclothing.com. It's red glitter and leopard satin interior with 2 levels.
The top level I use to store all my pencils, primers and face bits and pieces.
I can't quite fit everything in...I still have a few palettes, my brushes and quite a few lippies I don't know what to do with. Anyone got any suggestions??
It's excellently made with feet on the bottom to protect it and plastic lining over the satin. It's a little small for me but it's big to start off with...I guess it's either downsize (NO) or go buy a fishing tackle box!!
So, has anyone else got a vintage train case and what do you use it for?

Lookee! Swaps, Swatches & New Nail Plates!
I got so much STUFF this week I feel giddy! It was my Anniversary and I am now dripping in jewels, I got swap packages in, 3 new nail stamping plates from Chez-Delaney which I have swatched below and a new makeup case!
I got in some awesome nail polishes from the awesome Miranda at miranniesnails.blogspot.com. We did a small blind swap before Xmas and I am stoked with what I recieved:
That Nubar is flakies!! An Accessorize in Bronze, Barry M in Dusky Mauve which was on my wishlist and 2 polishes from a new Eyro brand called 'da'.
I've swatched one of them for you all today. The bottles unfortunately have no names and even finding the correct number for it is confusing. There is 107 stamped on a sticker on the bottom, but the sticker on the handle reads 001. It is a Denim Blue foil with silver shimmer and it's just gorgeous. This was 2 coats and I added Konading with China Glaze Millenium.
Onto the Konading part! I used a new stamping plate from Chez-delaney.com. She has just released 6 new ones in a fantastic XL design. Each stamp measures a huge 10mm wide by 12mm long and are way too big for my nails. These are excellent for those who have talons as you wouldn't need to stamp twice in most cases. I picked the 3 I liked the best as I couldn't afford all of them.
I used the plate pictured in the middle and for the sake of swatching, did a different stamp on every nail. Because they are so big, I could only get half the pattern on my nails. This was a little annoying as each pattern is so gorgeous, I wanted it all to be seen! I have to be content with showing just grabs of the design unfortunately. I do realise that these were made with long nails in mind as they have always missed out in the past. The Konad and Bundle Monster plates are better suited to those with shorties.
Otherwise they stamps I used all stamped beautifully. Nothing wrong with the designs being too deep or not deep enough. Using the XL plates was also so much easier than using small round plates, I wish all my stamping plates could be transferred onto one big one now!
I'll post pics of my gorgeous new makeup case tomorrow. Think glitter, red and retro pinup!
