Nyx Girls Ink & CG 2030

After swatching Nyx Girls Ink last week, I made it into a full mani for my Bead Show this weekend. This was 2 coats with China Glaze 2030 Konading. Different designs each hand as I couldn't decide which one to go with.

This is for day 3 of my Bead Show, 2 coats of 2030 with Black Pearl Konad...again, different designs for each hand!

Any Melbourne Followers?

I'll be in Melbourne exhibiting at the Melbourne Bead and Gem Show this Fri- Sun (Flemington Exhibiton Buildings, Ascot Vale) if anyone wants to come and say hi. We could maybe do a polish swap while we are at it?!
Email me if yes!

Wasabi & Rainbow Geometrics

Argh, the horror of it! This manicure has successfully given me Zombie hands. 3 Coats of Wasabi by JayJays which is a Neon Green, a coat of Gosh Rainbow flakies, Black Pearl Konading with one coat of CG Matte Magic to give it a satin finish. The konading and matte finish destroyed it, it looked not too bad all shiny and Rainbow-y.
I have had "Holy Cow Batman" running thru my head all day.

And Another OPI DS Original

We have all seen DS Original a million times but I only just got it in and I'm all excited about it! The holo is beautiful and much more extreme under artificial light so no outdoors for me the next coupla days!
This was 3 coats, 2 was fine but I like 3 for thin formulas out of habit. Black Pearl Konading and one coat of Seche QD.

Milani Magical & Nyx Swatches

This is rather boring IMO, plus I got my new Zoya's in yesterday so I'm itching to get this off and do some swatching!
2 coats of Milani Magical, which is a so dark Brown it's almost black jelly with orange glitter. Gorgeous color byt itself but I kind of covered it all with China Glaze 2030 using my Bundle Monster plates....couldn't decide which one so I used one of each!

Cherryculture.com have 25% off Nyx products at the moment so I have included a couple of Nyx swatches. Below is 2 coats of Las Vegas, very similar to CG Emerald Sparkle but Nyx isn't as glittery.

And this is 3 coats of Ink, my favourite shade of Blue. I love this.

And Purple Noir, 2 coats.

I now have 200 followers as of..NOW! Thanks for spreading the word about my humble little blog and my not so great nails! xoxoxo

OzOtic Pro MULTICHROMES!!

Oooooo baby, lookee what I got! I caved and got some Ozotic Pros from a beauty store. What stopped me is that they only took CC over the phone, which is a BIG NO-NO for me, but I managed to deposit into their bank account so it was safe enough for me to place an order of 4 of their nicest (IMO) Holos, duochromes and a multichrome. This post is all about #505, which ranges from a green, to blue, to purple and so many shades of each color it's hard to know how MANY colors exactly I'm looking at.
EDITED TO ADD; going from a couple of readers comments, the above photos are from the ONE polish, not several bottles. This is one color peoples, showing different shades in the light.
There are lots of pics and 1 video, all taken indoors at night so no natural light pics I am afraid.

And this red holo goodness is #600 and beautiful. Lots of rainbow flash, applies smoothly and opaque in 2 coats, I like doing 3 coats for holos.

Foiled Again!

Here's my first attempt at foils! It's not bad if I do say so myself ( I was after all following the instruction sheet step by step). These are a holo gold foil in a geometric pattern, bought from ebay. I also got the adhesive but no top coat, after one attempt that shrunk with the Seche I swapped to a supercheap $1 brand from the cheap shop which worked excellently. The bling shine is very impressive, way more gold than what I could ever get from a gold polish alone. I think only a Minx mani would top it for shine.
Because I can't leave alone, I added some Black Konad bows. Pics are not the best.
The wear with these are very disappointing, they wore away from the tips after 2 hours revealing the polish underneath.

Orly Siren & Some Kissy Lips

This idea looked better in my head rather than on the nails, but it's OK for a day or 2 of wear! Both hands picture this time as I think my right hand looks better.

This Orly shade, Siren, is gorgeous! It's a true, brighter than bright RED, no jelly or shimmer just a lovely thick creme....mmmmmm. 2 coats for perfect coverage and streak free. I then stamped it with China Glaze 2030 gold dots and Konad Black kissy lips from my new Bundle Monster plates. One coat of Seche QD.

L.A Girls Groupie & Random Swatches

This color is awesome and going only by online swatch pics, VERY close to Zoya Mimi ( so ignore my lousy pics and go find a swatch on Mimi!). It's an awesome glitter purple but my camera HATES purple and refuses to co-operate with anything in that shade. This was 2 coats of before said awesomeness with China Glaze Millenium stamping using one of my new Bundle Monster plates. One coat of Seche QD. Pics are in sun and in shade. It's quite blingy and shiny, perfect for a freezing cold Winter's day!

Just a little swatch of Milani Fairy Tale which is a perfect darker than dark Navy base with bright aqua glitter. Gorgeous! 2 coats.

And one from L.A Girls Metal line, Sterling, which is a bring it on, put ya sunnies on shine!! Love it! 2 coats. Pics are in light and in shade.

*Begs* Is this a dupe for Nfu-Oh 51???

I'm kinda obsessed with Nfu-Oh 51, probably mainly because it's a polish that is out of my reach and always will be since Australia doesn't stock it.

So, after having a bit of a play I think I may have found a 'just as good as' but because I have never seen #51 IRL I need YOU guys to tell me if I'm close!

This is 4 coats of Sinful Colors Daddy's Girl, which is a beautiful jelly shade with micro purple glitter. Which pictures DO NOT capture, even after 40 attempts! After 4 coats you could still see faintly VNL in direct light but the color is definately one of my favourites and I'll be buying a backup bottle with my next CC order.
Then 2 coats of Gosh Rainbow. The color is so freakin awesome! I can't stop looking at my fingys and twinkling them in the sunlight.

....so....AM I CLOSE???!!

Milani Holographic Hi-Tech

I received my first order from Cherry Culture today and promptly tried all 29 polishes, 1 per nail, and ending up doing a full manicure with Milani Hi-Tech. This is a green gold holographic which is beautifully rainbow-y after 3 coats. All pics taken under artificial light. I only got a couple of Milani holo's and I am kicking myself for not buying the lot. Black Pearl Konading with a Chez-Delaney plate of birds and leaves. I really do like this one but the real test for ths color will be in the morning in natural light as to whether it's going to be on the dull side.

Underwater World KOTD

I am floored by Glammed Up's ( http://glammed-up-ainos2.blogspot.com/) header everytime I read her blog and was inspired to try my own 'Underwater World'. Emphasise on the TRY! This is my first layered Konad, I have ventured out from the full nail plates! I couldn't fit as much detail onto my smaller nails but I thought it turned out not too bad......
Two coats of Mode Hook Me Up which is a nice bright blue creme, with Black Pearl and White Konading and green, orange, red and blue glitter. I used Chez-Delaney plates H20 and H29 and Konad plate m27. One coat of Seche Vite QD.

CG Japanese Koi

Isn't this FAB??! I've been wanting to do a neon orange tiger striped mani since 'The Daily Nail' did her Cheetos manicure a couple of weeks ago!
This is 3 coats of China Glaze Japanese Koi over one coat of Ulta3 Allure to help the opaque-ness along. Black Pearl Konad and 1 coat of Seche Vite QD.
It looks super bright, super cool and my husband thinks I'm super rad!

Eyeko Vampira & Gosh Holographic

I caved and ordered some UK branded polishes and they arrived today! My darling child slept for 2 hours this afternoon so instead of making jewellery or cleaning the house, I put on The Birds DVD (man that movie has got to be one of the freakiest ever made) and I painted my nails...twice!! And my toenails in a delightful glittery Mad as a Hatter...don't worry, I don't show pics of my feet.

First up is Gosh Holographic 549 and as you can see it's holographic wonderfulness. Much more magnificent under artifical light (first pic) rather than natural (second pic, this is witha flash), but unlike China Glaze OMG you can still see the holo in shade (third pic, no flash). It needed a full 3 coats before the patching was under control and concealed, 4 coats to make it even. No topcoat as I didn't want to risk losing any rainbow.

This is 2 coats of Vampira by Eyeko, a black base with lots of tiny red glitter. If you are careful, you can get away with one carefully applied thicker coat, mine barely needed 2. Not much of a difference between this and China Glaze Lubu heels, I think Vampira glitter is denser if I had to pick out something.

I am too busy staring at my rainbow nails for another few hours before adding Konad...this will come tomorrow!

Bloom Osaka

Here is another Aussie branded polish you may have heard of, Bloom, in Osaka which is a rich fuschia/magenta/ purple with a gold sparkle....which my camera had a hard time capturing. Bloom formulas are nice to apply and are even after 2 thin coats. The overall color range is not original enough to justify the $14.95 price tag but I bought these before I discovered TD!
I then applied silver nail art stickers with rhinestones in the middle and added 2 thick coats of Seche QD.
