Nubar Gem

Nubar Gem is a beautiful pale brown color with holographic shimmer. This is 3 coats with warm Black Konading on a Chez-Delaney plate. It didn't stamp great, for some reason I couldn't pick up all the pattern properly so it got changed less than 24 hours later!

  2. Looks like it's going to be my next buy. I am wearing Absolute right now, it's the first time I use Nubar, and I am just so in love with it. Ease of application and gorgeous colour, just what I need !

  5. MartianDelights, I have just 'discovered' Nubar too and really love their formula and colors. Make sure you add Petunia Sparkles to you list!

    Thanks Tiana, Tassa and Susie!

  6. Thanks, will check out the Petunia Sparkles one.
Only bought three as my first buy: Absolute, Peacock Feathers (I just CAN'T wait to try this one) and Knight's Armor... decided to be a bit more daring with my nails now that I can finally wear varnish again.
I am really happily surprised with Nubar. Formula is thin and although you need 3 coats I found for Absolute, they're thin and dry really quickly, hiding nearly all of the flaws of my still brittle nails. It left my nails quite hard, and when most varnishes would have chipped by now, can't find any signs for this one !

How did you come across this brand? Is it through blogs like me?

  7. I can't find Peacock Feathers anywhere available to Australia, including ebay. I may have to add it to my wish list!
Yes, I found Nubar thru other blogs. I am still lemming a couple of their colors incl Forest. I will have to Google Absolute, don;t think I have seen that one yet!

  8. Got my Nubars from them:
    http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/3conheo/

They offer free shipping so limit their items to the UK, but their me page says they don't ship to poland or italy - so they must be shipping elsewhere... if you really want it, it might be worth dropping them a line and see if they will sell one to you :)

Will try and blog about Absolute in the next few days... will put the link on here if I remember :)
