Cheetah: Vintage Couture Style
I have soooo many untrieds but this manicure has been on my must do list for ages. Every now and then I see another blogger do a pastel Cheetah style manicure and I remember all over again how much I want to do it!
Once I started using Color Club's Vintage Couture I remembered how much I detest this formula but love the color. This was 3 thick gluggy coats and look at that streaking! UGH. Someone please recommend me another sickly sweet pastel pink!
I Konaded using Warm Black, for the dots I used China Glaze Heli-Yum, Lemon Fizz and Sportsgirl Hawaii Five-o for the Blue. 1 coat of Seche QD.
It looks really awesome and my husband thinks I'm so cool. He now looks at women's nails all the time and if they are painted a boring color he gives them a lecture on Konad and how they should really "Google it and try it"!
this is so super cute! and I laughed so hard about your husband lecturing about Konad, hahahahaha!
ReplyDeletethis looks SO awesome! ♥
ReplyDeleteI love how this looks. Its such a cute idea with the bright colors for the spots on a pastel background. And I love that your husband is talking up the konad with strangers. LOL That is priceless.
ReplyDeletea pink that is similar that I have seen is China Glaze Something Sweet that might just work for you! love this nadicure I'm always kicking myself for not getting this konad plate!
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you. evevry time I see a pic of this style mani it makes me want to do one so bad. This is very cute BTW. I really love your choice of base color.

ReplyDeleteI don't have another pink for you but if you put some thinner into the polish it should go on much smoother for you....
