China Glaze Millenium

I'm half way thru my bottle of China Glaze Millenium and realised I have never painted a full manicure with it. As you all know, the Khrome collection is perfect for stamping which is what I exclusively use mine for.

It was horrible to apply, thick and gloopish and streaked like a madman. I used the flash so you guys can't see the mess. But the shine payoff makes it all worthwhile. I love this kind of silver, just a shimmering chrome with no glitter or sparkle.

I stamped it with Konad Dark Red and finished with a coat of Seche QD.  I used the Bundle Monster plates and they don't quite fit my nail, so don't look too close at it.  It's still lovely and tipwear and chip free after 4 days.

Remember to enter my SIGMA BRUSHESgiveaway....it's worth $99!

  2. I've just received my konad kit...i use a clear coat, then stamp and then another clear coat. I find it chips within a day...not sure what i'm doing wrong. I tried konad clear coat, diamond clear coat from sally hansen and insta dry sally hansen. It seems to just peel off...any ideas you could give me would be fantastic.

  3. Kimberly. I religiously use Seche Quick dry. I also stamp straight over the base color then finish with a topcoat. I do have a friend who has nails that nail polish wont stick to, you may be the same. For anything to stick to her nails for any amount of time she lightly files them all over making them slightly rough, then and adds a gritty base coat like a ridge filler or any of the NailTek foundations, then adds her color and stamping. This may help you also.

  4. great polish for stamping, true! I want it for that purpose! but it's also lovely as a full mani...a bit sad it's a little hard to apply...!

  5. Do you read my mind? XD
Few days ago I thought the same thing: a full mani with millennium since I used it only for stamping... XD I didn't post an entry, yet, but pics are almost ready ;)
By the way, I have to say the same thing: a hell to apply!!! Maybe with a more generous ammount of self-levelling base coat should me better, or maybe a ridge filler as base, or maybe the nfu.oh aqua base that's gummy...
My english is ridicolous, I hope to had express myself decently :P

  8. I had almost the same polish on today! Only I had to use 2 different polishes: Anafeli & Maybeline.
I just wrote a blog about it.
