I have done it over black. It was great for Halloween. But I really like what you layered it over. I'm like Jessi. I never think of laying a glitter on top of a glittery polish. I only think of cremes. But now that I see how pretty this is I will definitely have to try more glitter-on-glitter combinations if not this one exactly sometime. :)
