Pink Panther Gets Stormy

I promise I will get back into my stamping one day. When this obsession with glitter is finally over, I will pull out my plates once again!

Lush Lacquer's glitters are particularly yummy and aren't scrimpy on the glitter. One coat is all you need. This is Pink Panther over P2 Stormy, which is rather lovely on it's own.

On another note, what do you think with my new nail shape?

  1. I love all of your awesome glitter polishes, and fully encourage them to keep coming. I'm sure you must get asked things like this day in and day out (sorry to add to that), but do you have a favourite nail polish remover and/or technique for getting glitter polish off with a relative degree of ease? I don't mind so much for fingers (if it takes a while and some elbow grease, I mean), but really find that sparkle on toenails is extra tricky to remove.

    1. I should add, I mean that it seems harder to remove on my toes, even using the same number (or less) of coats and the same remover.

    2. I hope you don't mind me jumping in here. :) I use the soak-off/foil method on both my fingers and toes. It still takes time, but no elbow grease whatsoever.

    3. Jessica, just place polish remover soaked cotton balls on your toenails and leave there for a few minutes. The polish should slide straight off after this time. This is also called the foil removal method as it also calls for wrapping your nails in tinfoil to stop the pads drying out. I dont bother with the foil, a few minutes of the pads sitting on my nails and not moving works fine. xx

    4. Thank you very much, dearest gal, I will try both methods. I just love sparkle on my toes (there's something so cheerful about looking down and seeing glitter with each step), and hope this will make getting it off (when I want to switch sparkly hues) easier.

Thanks again, honey - have an awesome Halloween,

  4. Hi Carli :)
I love this polish combination. Beautiful! Just wanted to let you know, your nail shape is absolutely perfect. They look like movie star/model hands. The length is balanced and proportional to your hand shape and size. The shape is perfect with your original/eclectic fashion style. You should have been a lady of the 1950's. That was back when women were women, and always dressed like a lady and men truly were men. I love visiting your blog everyday. Love all the outfits and the shoes are fantabulous!!! Thank you. Happy Polishing!
Have a great rest of the week!

    1. Aww Pinky, your post is why I bother blogging! Thanks so much, you are gorgeous!
BTW, my nails are back to nubbins....points look FABulous but they also become really weak and I lost a few points over the last few days. Now I understand why the ladies that do have them, have them in acrylics!
