Lynnderella Garden Of Even

Two coats of Lynnderella's Garden of Even over Pretty Serious Atomic Brain.

OK, you all know I think Lynnderella's polishes are major letdowns and not worth the dosh, so I'm gonna do it again so I don't let you all down ;)    Petunia Sparkles by Nubar is exactly the same color as this one, completely opaque in 2 coats, doesn't need 3 coats of Seche topcoat and doesn't need undies underneath it.  It also cost no more than $7 a bottle.

Nuff said? !

  1. LOL - were you given your Lynnderella polishes or did you buy them? Thank goodness there's someone who isn't kowtowing to the wonderfulness of Lynnderella.

    1. I very rarely get samples provided for free, all my collection is purchased by me. I just dont think the polishes are worth $23, when there are bottles for sale under $10 which look the same.

    2. Yeah, the price is what has really put me off even trying them even though some look pretty enough to warrant trying to get over the application issues - of which you are not the first person I've seen having trouble with them. The most expensive polishes I own are Revlon. I refuse to pay $20 or more for a bottle of polish from anywhere.

  2. Different strokes for different folks. I love Lynnderella polishes and the fact that she was the leader in the field long before Indie sellers jumped on the bandwagon. I'm sorry you have so much trouble with them. They are well behaved for me - just like children - it depends on the hands at work I think :)

    1. Exactly. But for $23, I want something SPECTACULAR, not just pretty. But that's just me :)

  3. I just compared my bottles of Petunia Sparkles with Garden of Even, and other than the base colour they have nothing else in common. I much prefer the holographic appearance of G of E. I also find they both need same amount of top coat to get glossy. As Catkin said - different strokes. I guess the price point isn't an issue for me either.

    1. I'm glad u mentioned the holo sparkle as Ive realised thats probably why I don't like this as much as Petunia. Petunia is one of my most coveted colors and I have gone thru 2 bottles in a year with 3 more backups! The $23 price point is a HUGE deal for me, something worth $23 has to rock my sox off.....and so far none of my Lynn colors I have chosen has done this...I'm very dissapointed.

  5. It's a shame that such a costly polish doesn't give you all the bang (and then some!) that you're after for your buck. It's a lovely sparkle all the same, but for $23, you have to love something fiercely for sure!!!

  6. Yeah I kinda worry about spending $23 on a colour that I need to purchase or have a secondary polish yo make it worthwhile. I consider them topcoats not polishes. I am not a big fan of all these indies just doing glitter in a clear base. I don't mind a few, but the market is so saturated by glitter topcoats.
