Color Club TWIGGIE

I was very excited to show this one as I didn't previously have a light green Neon in my collection. I LOVE how this looked on my nails, it suited my skintone and I got heaps of comments!
This was 2 coats of Color Club's Twiggie over 1 coat of OPI Alpine Snow. I Konaded it with Warm Black and added 1 coat of Seche QD.

Lookee at how bright this is! First photo is in full sunlight, second photo is in shaded natural light.

BTW, I have rounded out my nails giving them a more almond shape. I think this shape suits me better than the square look. ???

WHAM! POW!

OK, these pictures are NOT photoshopped....they are that BRIGHT! This neon is so impossibly neon, my nails were stopping traffic with people thinking Council workmen were flagging them down. Seriously.

Color Club's Poptastic collection is certainly surprising me with it's color payoff. Most other branded neons need something like 6 coats to become opaque even over white but Wham! Pow! only needed 2 coats over 1 coat of OPI Alpine Snow. I Konaded it with Warm Black using my new Chez-Delaney plates....resisting the temptation to put tiger stripes over the lot! 1 coat of Seche QD. First 2 pics were under artificial light with flash, last pic was in natural shaded light and no flash.

Color Club Almost Famous

As well as sponsoring my HUGE giveaway with a 7 pack of polishes, Rob from Color Club also sent me my own 7 pack so I could swatch away and show you what one of YOU is going to win on the 1st of March! Yep, Rob ROCKS!

This was 2 coats of Almost Famous over 1 coat of a generic white. I always do neons over a coat of white as it makes the colors blindingly bright. The formula on this was excellent. I have gone thru several yellows and dumped them as the formula was just too thick and gluggy. I Konaded in warm black using my new chez-delaney.com plates and did 1 coat of Seche QD.
All pics taken in natural light with a flash. IRL my nails didn't look streaky at all....damn Macro!

I got an insane amount of comments on this manicure from total strangers while out shopping. I called it my Buzzy Bee mani.

New Rockabilly Dress by Hell Bunny

I have been reading my giveaway comments and a lot of you have been asking for more photos of makeup and..... well, of me. I think it's all rather strange as I am very boring but I took photos of this dress for you all anyway.

These pics show that I'm starting to get rather bad eye wrinkles so it looks like I am going to have to invest in some foundation to even things out a bit. Anyone got some good brand recommendations?

Anyway....I got more new dresses!
This one is from Hell Bunny and has an awesome pinup girl print all over with polkadot detail. The vintage style bolero is from a local clothing store and the wedge shoes are vintage style from Naughty Monkey.
I wore Whoa! eyeshadow by Shelly Frances with my signature MAC Russian Red Lipstick. Who can't wait for Russian Red to be re-released in WONDER FREAKING WOMAN tubing???!!!
Argh, someone restrain me from buying 10 of them.

I wore this to Melbourne yesterday where we took Miss 2.5 to see "Disney Princesses LIVE!" on the stage. We saw Cinderella, Snow White and Belle prance around on the stage wearing lovely, sparkling, glittery dresses. Miss 2.5 thought it was all very exciting. She wore her Snow White costume clutching a billion Princess Barbie style dolls, along with about 100 other little girls who rocked up wearing Disney costumes and clutching same said dolls.

Ahhhhh, the power of advertising to children who can't even speak properly yet.

Orly Precious Collection - Royal Velvet

Orly sent me a bottle of Royal Velvet, from their new Precious collection out in Australia this March. Look at it, it's divine! It's a super dark purple with bright blue shimmer. All pictures were taken in full sunlight with no flash.
This was 3 coats with no top coat. As you can see it dried to a super glossy finish. Just yummo and thanks Orly once again for bringing out a color like no other in my collection.

HUGE Blog Sale Up!

Unfortunately, I need some cash ASAP so I've just added over 70 polishes and some stamping plates to my Blog Sale page.

It includes Bad Fairy, Zulu, Zoya, Stargazer and other cool colors so first email in, first served! All prices are in AUD but it's pretty much dollar for US dollar at the moment but I can covert any totals using XE.com.
