Anniversary Nails

This is what I did for my Wedding Anniversary this week. They stood out and generated a few comments. I love white nails and should do it more often.

2 coats of Revlon Powder Puff and 2 coats of Revlon Red on the ring fingers.

Stamped with Konad Red and White and finished with a coat of Seche QD.

Sometimes Public Humiliation Is Necessary

Im doing what any self respecting woman should NEVER do.....post FAT photos of herself.
But I'm one of those who have ZERO willpower and think exercise is a dirty word so a good dose of public humiliation is exactly what I need to kick myself up the bum.

The last month has seen me put on a weird amount of weight which is out of the normal for me. Usually if I gain weight, it's at a snail pace so that I never knew it was happening until a belt wouldn't click into the normal notch one fine morning, so to just get SPLATTED with an extra 2 kilos is quite frightening.

Because I am not a person to just cut out my beloved carbohydrates and kill myself at the local Gym, I have decided to go about losing weight by replacing breakfast and lunch with fruit and vegetables in the way of smoothies and having a light dinner. So, a smoothie maker is on the way, I searched high and low and found my Weight Watchers point counting books and I dragged the eliptical trainer out of the garage! I am resolved to lose enough weight to regain my waist!!

If anyone has any tips they can send my way it would be most appreciated. Especially on tips to keep motivated.......must stay motivated.

HITS Flamenco & Lambada

OK, I officially cannot wait till my second order from Llarowe arrives, cause I'm salivating for the rest of the HITS flakies I got. Yes, they are pretty much the same as Nfu-Oh, but they are more opaque than Nfu and require one less coat. On the downide, they take a llllooooonnngggg time to fully dry, even with a coat of Seche QD. I had to redo a couple of nails after an hour and the next morning I had bed sheet wrinkles on them.

This is 2 coats of Flamenco, a bright Red with orange flakies.

And decided to flakie it up a little more with a coat of Lambada.

Finally I added a matte topcoat after a couple of days!

16 Years Today

I have been married to The Sexiest Man On The Planet for 16 years today!

Yay for me cause I get presents! So does he, of course. And Miss 10 and Miss 3 do as well.
Our Anniversary is always a huge celebration and much looked forward to. We all tease each other for weeks as to what we *might* be getting. Miss 3 has hardly been able to function properly and declares frequently that she "just can't stand it anymore".

I am off to have a lovely day!

Glitter Gal 10 To Midnight

Glitter Gal's new holo shade, 10 to midnight, is a dark charcoal grey with rainbow shine. A dull grey in the shade but comes alive once sun hits it. This was 2 coats with a coat of Seche QD.
