China Glaze Riveting

Hands up who else was salivating at the thought of a Hunger Games polish collection then was seriously bummed when the colors were boring? Me too.


The only one I got was Riveting, even tho I have a couple of others almost the same already. The above pic was in full sunlight.


And in shaded light with a flash. I was so bored I didn't even do cuticle cleanup.

Maybe I'm just jaded??

    I think this is pretty although I am not excited by the hunger games collection - they could have done so much better

    no this was a very boring collection, I did not even blog about it. Riveting looked worth buying, but i know similar shades which are prettier....oh well, on to the next collection (neons....for summer...again....)

    I was so disappointed.
    Riveting and Electrify are the only ones I'm even remotely interested in.

      I contemplated electrify but wasn't too sure on so much gold.

    I was thrilled at the collection, so my hand is down. I think it really has to do with your personal color scheme. I'm warm, and most of the Hunger Games polishes are right up my alley.

    In most new releases, only one or two polishes pique my interest, because the entire collex is mostly cool in tone.

    Being that "Hunger Games" is practically the opposite of a typical release, I *almost* purchased the entire kit n caboodle. The ones I stayed away from were the darks and cool polishes. So 9/12, 75% of a grouping ... it has never happened before. I usually think the companies have forgotten us warm colored folk, so it is a nice change of pace.

    I've never read the books so I wouldn't know what polishes I'd want. This is a pretty shade with lots of shimmer. I haven't bought any of the collection. It's all right nothing jumps out at me.

    My hand is halfway up? I was really expecting some bright colors (um they dye themselves green and have you seen the hair?) but I did pick up Riveting, Agro, Harvest Moon and Fast Track.
