Pinups In The Woods

Remember this post?
I ended up choosing the Kitchen print but wanted the Woodlands dress also.
Well, the gorgeous Em from Miskonduct clothing (who sponsored my 3,000 follower giveaway) sent me a voucher for her online store....cause she's just awesome like that, and I was able to put the voucher towards this dress.

It is now MINE. Hehe-FREAKING-he!

Photos taken late at night, inside my parents house. Don't blame me for the crap pics, I looked FAB.

Ulta3 Magnetic Enchanted

Aussie company, Ulta3, have hopped onto the magnetic bandwagon. Their color range unfortunately just mimiced everyone elses colors so I wasn't drawn to any of them. I bought Enchanted just to see what they magnetised like.

This was one coat of Enchanted.  It magnetised well BUT not with the Ulta3 magnet.  I gave up on it and these pictures were taken using the China Glaze magnet. The upside is that the glitter is wonderful and is much more pronounced amongst the magnet design than any other brand I have tested.
2 coats of this color will give you a darker design.

Did any Aussie chicks get these?

Rockabilly Nails

How cool are these?! I think I'm super dooper clever at the moment.

I started with a base of P2 Stormy and Revlon Red. I used ring binder stickers for the half moons and Konad Warm Black for the stamping. This manicure takes a while as you have to wait for the base coats to completely dry before taping and stamping.    Watching Breaking Bad helps with this process.

I got the Cheetah stramping a little too far down and it was hard to cover, but a pretty good attempt overall.  Finished with Sehe QD, being careful not to smudge your design!

And Now For Something Completely Different

Every once in a while, usually in Winter,  I get the urge to wear something completely not vintage related...at all. When I do get in this mood, this is the outfit I usually wear.

These Oilily pants are something I will never get rid of. I will love them to death. I usually tee them with my heavily beaded denim jacket I got in Italy, my HUGE glass necklace I made for myself and some cowboy boots.

Miss 10 told me to act like a tiger.

Lush Lacquer Birthday Cake

Lush Lacquer Birthday Cake. A white base but a little different with bar rainbow glitter included instead of the usual round or hex. Quite nice. Finished with Seche Vite QD.

Lush Laquer Chubby Checker

2 coats of Lush Laquer Chubby Checker.  As with all glitter, I fished around and placed most of the large glitter on each nail.  It also sinks to the bottom very quickly, so make sure you store it upside down.
