FIXATION Blood Of The Dragon

Fixation Blood of the Dragon, a jellied green base with large and small sized glitters. This was a couple of coats with some intentionally placed large hexes.
The real beauty tho, in my opinion, was the bae color I used for this glitter......

Bloom San Francisco, 2 coats.
  Isn't is wonderfully sublime? Yummo.

Recent Thrifty Finds

I found all this in one hit from an Op shop last week. Tea, cup and saucer sets were $5 each with the Chintz cake plate for $2.

A beady customer of mine came to my last Bead and Gem Show with a big box tucked under her arm. Inside contained her Mother's china trios she no longer wanted and knew that I would love.
She was right.

The husband came home with 3 sets of skis he found on the side of the road on hard rubbish collection day. I just have to get motivated and sell them on ebay....anybody know anything about ski's??

5 Atomic glasses from the local Salvos for $1 each.   I was very :)

A Retro pop up Charity shop 'popped' up in town on Sunday and I got this leopard lined and collared 60's coat for $15. The amount of vintage coats in there was staggering, if I had a vintage shop I could have stocked it full of fur collared beauties. Unfortunately, none of them fit me. Neither did the perfect 40's suit jacket ($30) or 30's velvet opera coat ($35).  And another woman was taunting me by walking around with 2 50's garden floral dresses draped over her shoulder with $10 tags on them.  Grrrrrr.

What have you guys thrifted this week?

Tony Moly Shooting Star

2 coats of Tony Moly Shooting Star. It is a dirty pale pink base with rainbow glitter. Nothing terrible interesting, but it was a nice, neutral palette cleanser after weeks of heavy glitter.

Humbleebee & Sun-kissed

2 coats of Humblebee over 2 coats of China Glaze Sun-kissed. I got sooooo many comments about these nails...they are sun searingly bright. This color base coat was not the best to show Humblebee at it's potential but I still digged it.

YOWZA!!

China Glaze Neon Skittles

I caved and got the China Glaze Neons box set...even tho I didn't NEED anymore Neons. I don't wear these colors enough to justify having lots of them so I really don't know what I was thinking! I do like this collection however, becuase ChG added some shimmer into the mix.

I thought it called for some fruity business, so I stamped from the new Bundle Moster collection with Konad Yellow.  Finished with a coat of Seche QD.

Crows Toes Morticia

I recently got this in a blog sale and I have no idea why she sold it. This polish it AMAZING and I luv it.

One coat of Morticia over Revlon Rasin Rage.  I love how Crows Toes glitters are jam packed and thick.  There is nothing worse than a runny, piddly glitter with a few dots coming out with each coat....ugh.

I think I used 2 coats of Seche QD to finish it off.

MUA Nail Quake Orange

My Internet has been down for a few days so I have been AWOL. I do apologise to those very few who like to read my nonsensical ramblings every day!

I really am digging deep into the barrel of computer swatch files here as this manicure was previously discarded for posting! However, with no Internet I have been getting lots of jobs done and things have been organised and cleaned which haven't been for a while. Which means no nail art.

This was a thin coat of Make Up Academy's Orange Quake ove MUA Shade 1.

And 2 coats of Shade 1.

JADE Vermelho Surreal

Jade Vermelho Surreal or as we say here in Aussieland....Dark Red.

Stamped with Konad white. I didn't really like how the white was so stark against the red, I should have gone with a gold stamping.

Two coats of Vermelho Surreal. I don't think the holo was as fantastic or as pronounced in this color as with Mystic Gold or the Black.  I think I prefer my Glitter Gal Red.

Cheeky Legs!

This is what I wore to the Art of Elegance Fair on the weekend. I am particularly loving this gorgeous 50s handpainted Mexican skirt. It's deadstock and was quite cheap on Etsy, I don't think the seller quite knew the treasure she had.

The skirt has painted Senoritas with little 3D flippable skirts which show off their legs! Aycarumba!

My lucite purse was a bargain from eBay for $35. It's swirled tortoiseshell which is a fabulous color that goes with anything. My jewellery (you may have to click on pics to see them better) is a 1940s sterling silver Mexican set in green stone. I got the bracelet with matching earrings on Etsy for $30.

I am a bargain finding QUEEN!

The hair flower was made by Steve El'Roca, or Uncle Fezter as he is known by us flower ho's.

Lurex Top: Freddies of Pinewood
Skirt: Etsy
Shoes: Modcloth
Hair Flower: Uncle Fezter
Lucite purse: eBay

Art Of Elegance Winter Fair

Maryborough once again was the host of the Winter edition of The Art Of Elegance Fair.

Miss Lulu and Ruby Rabbit (you guys have no idea how much I love that name!) were there again making ladies look fabulous, Vintage style.

Trestle tables full on vintage jewellery.

I caught up with the delightful Nicole and Tim from Circa Vintage.

Lots of bakelite buckles, buttons and brooches.

Mrs Tovey was gorgeous and had baked some glorious goodies. I came home with the most delicious Sour Cream Apple Pie.  Look at the price....$5 for a huge pie!   Her prices really were from the 1950's!

My buys for the day.  A set of silver dress clips and a few bakelite pieces.

The next one is in 3 months, will let you all know the dates very soon.

JADE Psicodelica

Even tho I have several silver holographic shades already, I could not help but also order the silver holo from Jade. I do like to compare holos!

The rainbow flash in this silver base was strong, and on comparable quality to Gosh or Nfu-Oh. This brand however, is only $8 a bottle, so as far as price goes this one is a clear winner.
Another HUGE bonus for Jade is that there was no streaking or bald spots in between coats. Which means an Aqua base is not needed as the formula is perfect.

Three coats and finished with a coat of Seche QD. Two coats looked the same as 3, in case you were wondering. Stamped with Konad Red from the new Bundle Monster plates.

Who else thinks Jade Silver is a top ranker?
