I'm on the color shift pigment bandwagon and this is attempt number one.
I made a few at a time so I am not 100% what formula this is. It is either Avon Vintage Vamp or Mode Mulberry, some clear and a few tiny scoopfuls of the red/ green pigment from More Nail Polish. The above photos are taken in the shade with no flash. The photos below are in sunlight with a flash.
It does have a color shift.....but only in the right light and if I stick my tongue out at the right time while hopping on one leg.
I'm still playing, more test results later!
Reminds of an unripe apple for some reason! I love this - definitely a creative way of using color shifting pigments instead of just having it clear and on top of a base. Good job! Hope you find a way that works.

Thanks Suki! I do have a topcoat version coming tmrw.
ReplyDeleteGreat franken! I'm waiting for my powders to come in. I read somewhere (can't remember where) that using a jelly base helps the pigment shine through. Hope that helps! I can't wait to see what else you come up with! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's an amazing & beautiufl polish. You need to make this & sell it!
ReplyDeleteThanks All the Pretty POlish for that tip, will stick to jellies form now on.
