Hawaiian Party

 
It was Miss 6's Hawaiian Party this week. 
It took me 2 days of pre work but in the end we had: splendiferous food, a marvellous cake (cough,cough), wonderful face painting, super jumpy castles, thrilling tree swing competitions, fun party games....and a perfect Hawaiian dress for me by Pinup Girl clothing!

    That cake! So fabulous. One day they will realise how much work you put in for them! My mother made the most ridiculous cakes, costumes and parties for me and I was quite ungrateful, but I know it now!!

    You look wonderful and the party looks amazing. I love the fruit palm trees too. (But the cake wins. Love that cake.)

      Aint that the truth! We are never grateful until we gets kids of our own! The cake was super easy, just lather it with icing and press wafer sticks all around!

      Thanks Caroline! Nope, it was very quick and easy to make. Using Betty Crocker tub icing also makes it a LOT quicker!

    What a great cake! I have a sudden, irresponsible urge to have a grown-up Hawaiian theme party with those coconut shells though.
