Wintersun! Part 2: The Stars

I caught up with some gorgeous Vintage starlets and met some new ones! We were photographed for the local paper (anyone from Coffs saw me in that paper by any chance??) and asked by lots of people to pose. Being asked to pose lots reminded me I really do need to kick myself up the butt and lose some weight.

Miskonduct Clothing sponsored my 3,000 follower giveaway recently in the form of a $100 store voucher and  I finally got to meet the gorgeous Em!  She's little with huge boobs, just like me!

 I also picked up some gorgeous clothes I bought from her. New Freddie's jeans and a pinup dress....pics coming, so excited!!

And this is Em's truck. Very cool.

The Sexiest Man thinks Miss Chrissy is a walking doll and couldn't contain himself saying hello. She very gracefully accepted the mauling.

 

She wore a divine Hawaiian strapless dress and bolero set on loan from Bonnie Rose. I think we convinced her she had to buy it.

 

Talking about Bonnie Rose, Miss 4 almost died when she saw 'Sleeping Beauty' in person. She was even wearing a pink frothy dance dress just like Princess Aurora! My goodness, it made her day.

I caught up again with Miss Ruby Rabbit, fit to kill in her Frankenstein monster getup.

As with every good vintage Festical, there MUST be several Elvis's walking around. I felt this one was especially cute.

Miss Pia Anderson put everyone to shame looking sublime as usual. She also has an amazing voice and a rockin band.

Wintersun! Part 1: The Cars

Wintersun was on in Coffs Harbour this year and it was the first time we have attended. With 2 kids, one of them being a toddler, it is just too expensive to travel, especially as it is impossible to do any night time shows/dances/gigs. BUT this year it was in Coffs Harbour and we have had close friends recently move there..... so it was FREE accommodation!! (Thanks Dave and Chelle, you know we love you!)

I tried to cut the photos down but it was too hard!

Glitter Shoes...and a Yummy Dress

So....I got new shoes in the mail. And I haven't featured them very closely in this post because they deserve their OWN post....they are THAT fabulous.

Freezing cold weather now means long sleeve dresses, cardis and spencers underneath. I hate it and want my floral Summer dresses back again. But I'm making do.

Aqua Daisy Left Eye Red

Left Eye Red is the left eye patch on a pair of 3D glasses. Emmy is ingenious! Left Eye Red is a 3-free, handblended nail polish. It features a red jelly base with several sizes of silver glitter. Simple, basic, luscious red jelly.

Isn't it divine? So far I have absolutley LOVED every polish I have snagged from Aqua Daisy's Etsy shop. Go and check it out before it becomaes public knowledge!

Puca Duochrome Topcoat

Puca topcoat from Lilacquer is a dense dark green duochrome topcoat with gold to green shimmers. I layered it over a Nars Zulu dupe, a Chic Chic polish from a Sasa chemist in Hong Kong.

Top two photos were taken in natural shaded sunlight.

And Chic Chic on it's own.

I love how Puca comes in a green tinted base, rather than just the gold shifting pigments in a clear or milky base. It resitricts me to using it over a rich dark greem, which this color is perfect for. It's been 3 days and I don't want to take it off!

What have we been up to?

I completely forgot to tell you all tat I was dear Alice Jean's Miss Living Pinup for April!  You can read all about it here.

Miss 3 turned Miss 4

Another 4 baby guinea pigs were born, making a total of 16. Anybody want one?  Or two? Or 10?

I played with a new style of beadmaking and made some pretty cool glass beads.
