Recent Vintage Bargains

This 50's dress looks elegant on with the flared collar and cuffed cleeves.  The pattern is a striped illusion.

I really do look super fabulous with these 60's sunglasses on....just sayin'.  I got these recently for 50% off on Etsy.

I snagged this vintage floral fruit bowls set for $5 at an Op Shop.

A $25 bargain off eBay that looks super cute on. Love those big pockets.

I was outbid on this 50's dress at the last minute and was mad to find out I had missed out on it by only a couple of dollars! Then it was relisted a week later with a buy it now price of only half of what I bid, so I purchased it....I'm still wondering what the story is.  It has since arrived and is way too small, even tho the listing measurements were my size :(

These 40's lucite wedges I scored on eBay for $12. Can someone say BARGAIN?

Who else has snagged some vintage awesome-ness lately?

  5. Hello, I'm a new reader and can I say thrilled to have discovered your blog? I'm 18 and have recently fell in love with vintage about half a year ago. Unfortunately I can't tell apart clothes era-wise (..yet!) but you and your clothes have one thing in common: being gorgeous. 'Vintagelicious' indeed. Stay awesome!

    1. Awww Sixxy, you are too sweet...you can comment anytime! Welcome to the world of Vintage, eras aren't too important, just wear whatever you love and feel gorgeous in. If it doesn't make you feel fabulous, sell it!

  6. Hey, are you teasing me with those lucite shoes again! You know I got on ebay right after your last post about them and have some coming. They should arrive tomorrow! Not vintage or nearly as awesome as yours, but still clear Cinderella shoes.

  7. OMG be still my beating heart re those shoes. *pauses to catch breath*

So weird the story behind the butterfly dress. The mysterious ebay, most of time fantastic, sometimes so wtf?

Everything else is gorgeous. I am envious of your bargains.
