Cherries GALORE! A Review of The Jenny Dress by PUG

Another new dress I have been stockpiling over Winter and waiting for Spring to hit in Australia!

Pinup Girl Clothing stock some gorgeous dresses but I am always been hesitant to buy as they (previously) had high shipping charges and it was too much to add onto an already high priced dress, and then have it arrive and it may not fit.  BUT they recently announced a flat shipping rate of $28 Internationally AND they had 20% off so the Jenny Cherry dress instantly went into the cart.

As a mini review of the dress, if you are going to order one...order a size up.  I read reviews and emailed PUG Customer Service and went with their advice.  They do run very small.  The bodice is also boned and it sits wrong on my chest so the front kind of 'balloons' out and makes my girls look even more HUGE.  I think I may get this remedied by having the boning taken out by a tailor.  Because the bodice sits out and it sightly too big around my armpits, I can't wear it without a bolero.  But I can kind of live with that.  Cause it's just too damn cute.
The matching belt was also a few notch holes too big for my waist so I had too substitute with another red belt.

And my Irregular Choice Thumper shoes just looked ridiculously cute.
Seriously.  I. JUST. CAN'T. EVEN.

People take sneaky photos of my shoes when they think I'm not looking.  People, I am ALWAYS paying attention.

Excuse me, but can we just sit here a little bit and look at the marvel that is my hair?!

  1. Killer outfit! From the bunny shoes (I'd sooo want to snap a pic of them, too, but I'd ask you first of course) to the cherry dress and, of course, your sensational hair, you look ready to stop traffic in these photos, dear gal.

  5. LOVE this! An your hair! I have previously stayed away from cherry dresses because it seemed like every man and his rockabilly/pinup/retro/50s/wannabe/buymyshit/I'msovintage man and his dog was doing it to get in on the action. So I steered clear. But they have been my love for SUCH long time that I decided STUFF IT and have recently ordered a custom made dress in cherry print and I cannot wait for it to arrive!

    1. DITTO, Ditto, Ditto. But I just love cherries too much to worry about looking like a cliché. A halter neck Polkadot circle dress is another thing entirely....I will rather drop dead than ever wear something like that.
