So we have all seen different versions of Golden Green lately, so it's nothing new. I've included pictures of both Golden Green and Aussie brand Chemistry 519 for comparison purposes.
2 coats of Golden Green over one coat of black. I much prefer this over black as I feel it's a bit wishy-washy on it's own.
And Chemistry 519 also over black. Pretty much the same, I prefer the Chemistry for it's very slight darker appearance. If anyone Aussies already have the Chemistry I wouldn't bother with the Models Own.

Chemistry 519
WARNING: LOTS of juicy pictures ahead!
Stef, the most amazing nail polish freak ever sent me a little present in the mail! She knew I was lemming Chemistry 519 after seeing pics of it on her blog so she went out and got me a bottle. Awwwwwww!
These photos are all 2 coats over 1 coat of Black. I felt this made the color 'POP' more. Am I right or am I right?
All taken inside under artificial light.
So even tho this looked totally awesome as it was, I knew I needed to add some stamping so I did with Warm Black.
Outside in overcast natural light.
I don't know much about Chemistry and trying to find out more. As far as I know they are an Australian company, their colors are dupes for Ozotic Pro and Artform polishes and they are proving extremely hard to source. If any Aussies know of any outlets in the Victorian area or any online shops, please let me know!
Thanks Stef!

A Glitter Bomb Franken w You Mix Cosmetics!
I made an awesome Flakie/Glitter franken which looks 10 times better than my photos show.
I mixed Esmalte Especteral in with some color shifting gold to green glitter in a clear top coat.
This glitter is the same as Ozotic Pro use for their Elytra polish range.
Above photos taken in natural shaded light.
In full sunlight. It is full of flash and shine. I think it's gorgeous!
And it was layered over a coat of Chemistry 526, a gorgeous dark black holo.
Glitter was purchased from You Mix Cosmetics, which is very generously sponsoring my 3,0000 follower giveaway! You Mix has an array of flakies and glitter for our frankening pleasure!!

Butter London Wallis
I recently did a Butter London haul when they were reduced down to $13.95 on Ozsale. Coincidentally, they are on sale again today starting at 12 midday! With the exception of Black Night and Tart with a heart, I htought the rest were completely boring and very ho-hum for a $22 price point. The formula was NOT like butter and the brushes on most are wonky and splayed. Not impressed.
3 coats of Wallis. I really wasn't impressed with the color either, it's been done several times already and I have a nicer version of this that cost me $3 from Chemistry.
I know, I know...I can be brutal when a polish disappoints me.
And on a much happier note, Miss 3 started ballet class last week....isn't she perfectly divine??

2011 Favourites: Nails
These are *some* of my favourite nail posts from 2011. These colors weren't necessarily released last year....I just like them!
Lippmann Across The Universe
Chemistry 230 over Black
Nerd Lacquer All of Time and Space
China Glaze High Maintenance
OPI Red my Fortune Cookie
Claire's Mood Changing
Color Clubs Poptastic Collection
China Glaze Marry a Millionaire
Models Oen Emerald Black
Kleencolor Metallic Purple
Bb Couture Dragon's Breath
Orly Ole
Models Own Magenta Pearl over Black
Models Own Purple Blue
BB Couture Napa Valley Red
Going back thru my blog, it was amusing to see how my nails have changed. I used to prefer them quite short and filed square but I now prefer them longer and in an almond shape.
