Off To The Ballet


The Russian Ballet came to a town near us recently to perform Swan Lake.  Nanny bought tickets.


 
This fabulous 1950's dress was on the Ooh Lala Facebook Vintage sell site and a bargain at only $30. But it had an impossibly tiny waist, but it just happened to be Miss 11's size waist.

The bright orange Ed Hardy watch is a little clashy, but she's a tomboy at heart.

Miss 4 went all ballerina, of course.  This one is definitely NOT a tomboy.

Nail Polish: Pretty Serious Mummy Mash ( a perfect color for ballerinas)

      Thanks Jessica! Miss 11 has expressed interest in vintage so we always look for her at Vintage shows now. It's fun!

    Did you enjoy the perfomance? It's funny that I have never been in Bolshoi theatre in Moscow, although I'm working near it)

    Your girls are so, so gorgeous! They are so lucky to have such a pretty well dressed mum to inspire their developing style :)
    I am completely and utterly jealous that you're going to see Swan Lake! When I was in Russia this year I couldn't get tickets to the ballet in Moscow or in St Petersburg because they were completely booked out everywhere, so I can only imagine how incredible the performance will be!

      Oh no! They are currently touring Australia so do a Google search and see if they are coming to a town near you. The girls loved it. Good luck!

    OH they are so cute, I've gotten my 5 year old into vintage too, she loves to wear the old dresses I find her at the resale shops.

    That dress looks perfect on Miss 11... I suspect it was really for someone her age, and not for the world's tiniest grown woman. The ballet sounds fantastic!
