Revlon Scented GUMDROP


There's one downside to scented nail polish....smelling your fingers in public makes you look like you have just picked at your bum and need to smell to see if you scratched a bit too far in......get the picture?

This is Revlon's Gumdrop, a very pale lavender purple that comes out on the grey side.  These pictures are 3 coats and it was still patchy in places and definitely need at least another 1.  If I was to ever use this again, I would do a white base coat first.


Konading was with Warm Black using a chez-delaney and a Konad plate.  I couldn't top coat it as it would have taken away the smell...which in hindsight would have been a good thing cause at least then I wouldn't look like I've just scratched my bum walking down the street.

    Ive actually top coated all of my smeller revlons and they still smell great. seriously, try it!

    Yep, you can put a top coat on it and scent still comes through.

    How do you get your stamping to look so freaking perfect? I mean, it's seriously FLAWLESS.

    I have got to try this scented nail polish! This is a lovely color, unfortunate for the way it goes on though! I love the picture haha!

    LOL - Only an Aussie would come up with a bum scratching reference! Anyway, what do they smell like, I've never bothered with them thinking they woundn't really work.

    Soraya. I forgot the scent part! It's not really a defined scent...more candy scented.

    I have grape crushy or something in for the past week. It really illicets too many smell my finger or sniff the cheese references. Everyone I scratched my nose or lip I was weirder out.

    I love this one! I usually do three thick coats and SV on top to avoid patchiness. Most Revlon's play really well with SV :) Sadly my mama liked this one just as much as me so I gave it to her and now I'm on the hunt for a second! *sniff sniff

    Your too much! I think they smell so nice but find they're a problem. Yup, I want to smell my nails. Looks very weird! Love the stamps on this. Great manicure. Stop putting your fingers near your nose!
