Another outfit that was a little snug in the waist, but once again vintage undergarments have saved the day and it can be worn once again! (Yes, I know my bust is still quite tight, but even vintage undergarments can't be 100% miraculous.)
This little dress and bolero set was sold to me as 1960's, but to me it's just classic 40's.
Any thoughts?
It screamed SNOOD to me, so I threw on a red one for a classic red, white and blue theme. My shoes were a perfect cute match with their red polkadotted beads.
And just cause I know you guys are dying for it, here's a bonus BOOBIE shot!
And a gorgeous ballerina poofed into this shot!
Dress set: Dethrose Vintage
Shoes: Miss L Fire
Bangles: Lovisa
Snood: Handmade Etsy
Hairflower: Dynamite-darlin, eBay
Lipstick: Lime Crime Red Velvet
Just gorgeous! I <3 the polka dots, and your figure is to die for!
ReplyDeleteUgh, not really....undergarments are just working right that day!
DeleteYou look great! Boobs are a great accessory too. Ask my husband.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think just ask ANY husband!
DeleteBoth look so cute!

DeleteIam loving that outfit. It really looks 40's to me too. And your snood just makes the outfit. Spot on! (Pardon the pun - I have been hanging out with kids alot)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure on the decade, but it really dos look 40's to me. But the material feels a little more 60's....it doesn't really matter, I made it look 40's!
DeleteSuch a beautiful ensemble, and those shoes are fantastic. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Stefanie! Yes, the shoes are fab!
DeleteFantastic ensemble! There's no beating a great mid-century curve hugging dress with polka dots. You look so completely gorgeous and stylish, dear gal!
