I have had absolute rubbish luck Op shopping lately! Where art thou op Shop fairies???
2 lots of Deadstock 60's fabrics, still on the hangers. I gifted these to darling Sarah, who I know will create something fabulous out of them.
A 70's elastic belt for free cause the lady said I was cute and a pair of Deadstock vintage undies for $2.
A 50's suit for The Sexy Man, which fits rather nicely, for $5
2 rather lovely hats from my Aunty D's vintage store for $20 each. You guys saw the one on the left in my outfit post the other day.
And a Pyrex divider cookware in black with snowflakes for $5.
What treasures has everybody else found lately?
Ohhh - great finds. I haven't even had a chance to op shop lately. Makes me terribly sad.
ReplyDeleteYour finds are smoking mine out of the water big time (love those hats and the Pyrex dish!). Save for one good Value Village day (that actually included a few vintage items - all accessories, but still more than enough to make me a very happy camper) earlier in the year, I've had next to no luck on the thrift store front this year. Hopefully the colder months will be kinder to me there!

Love that fabric with the circles on it! The thrift store selection has been rubbish here lately. I've done better at yard sales and the occasional flea market. Earlier this year I found a couple yards of a 50s floral for $1, and the other weekend I came across a lady who was giving away a huge box full of vintage sewing patterns. Come to think of it, most of my best deals lately have been sewing related. I think the universe is trying to tell me to get busy, lol.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. Sometimes the thrifting gods are busy elsewhere or they are saving something very special for you next time. Love the the hats and dead-stock fabric is the best.
ReplyDeleteI have not had nuch luck this season. Two pairs of jeans, and I can never find jeans, so that's great. And some nail polishes. Your treasures are fab. Love the suit for 5 dollars. :)
