Shoes Day! Irregular Choice Mhari
I purchased these bejewelled lovelies during Irregular Choice's end of season sale as a thrown in with another pair. I thought that being black they would match most things. Turns out they don't match most things because of all the rhinestones conflicting with my outfits!!
They are pretty tho aren't they? Notice that the design is of a peacock?
You all must excuse the CRAP in the background of these photos. We were packing up a garage sale and Miss 11 forgot to tell me that you could see the remnants in the background. (BTW, garage sales are FAB and an easy way to earn some dosh! Go clean out your garages!) One day I promise I will become a 'proper' photographer.

Lovely shoes, lovely dress, lovely you! Didn't notice the "crap" in the background before you mentioned it.. :)

ReplyDeleteThey look great teamed with that dress too... and as Maria mentioned - didn't even notice what was going on in the background - I was too busy ogling those shoes :D

Thanks Helen! I'll be sure to read your blog.
DeleteGreat dress and even better shoes! They are gorgeous. If you can't match anything with them, simply make them the focal point of your outfit. They won't disappoint.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am thinking on the odd occasion when I wear a solid color they might look better. Thanks Mariela!
DeleteThese are really, really beautiful. I'm part Russian (my paternal grandpa is Russian) and these remind me a bit of some of the traditional patterns you see in folk costumes and architecture in Russia (and other Eastern European cultures).

Yes, they do look Russian inspired! How wonderful it would be to find a matching Russian skirt!
DeleteGood lord woman, stop being so gorgeous. Killer shoes as usual!
ReplyDeleteI looove your shoes!
