New Freddies Jeans!
I'm short. Very short. So every pair of pants needs to have a mile cut off and taken up. I finally got my dressmaker to take up all my pants so I can wear them properly and this included 2 pairs of Freddies jeans!
Even tho I love them, I'm not convinced I can pull off 1940's jeans, because I am so short and a little dumpy.
What do u guys think?

You look cute but I know how you feel. I have a bit of belly and am afraid to invest into some nice vintage jeans. If you're not comfortable in them then just sell them. There's no point in wearing clothes that you don't feel good in.
ReplyDeleteI love those jeans, with the different colored pockets, so cute. Heah, I dedicated my latest blog post to you, you should check it out.

So cute! 40's girls were curvy. Own your curves, you are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI think they are super cute! I got a little tummy too- nothing a girdle won't fix! Ha! If you feel good in 'em- that is all that matters! You look lovely : )
ReplyDeleteI think they're really cute on you. You may be short, but I would never say you're dumpy! You're very put together. I don't think there should be rules such as you can't wear a long skirt if you're short, etc. That said, I am somewhat tall, but I never feel that I look good in any pants because since I had three kids I am heavier and have some big hips on me. My butt just looks flat and my hips look wide, where a skirt sort of covers those problems up.
ReplyDeleteLooking completely cute, stylish and lovely in your new Freddies, dear gal (and reminding me just how much I need to find a leopard print cardi of my own!).
