Kleancolor City Never Sleeps & Heli-Yum
First up, these photos suck. They were taken at night and I forgot to take some during the day, so this is all I have. You will have to take my word for it when I say that this was a killer combo. Click on the pics to make them bigger...that might help a little!
One coat of China Glaze Heli-yum with 2 coats of Kleancolor City Never Sleeps. Finished with a coat of Seche QD.
The Kleancolor glitters are great but the bases are not. The glitters in this color are fantastic in multi shapes of gold, pink, silver, blue and orange...but the base color is a mucky brownish goop color. It completely wrecks the overall look of the glitter....why can't they just suspend all this awesomeness in Clear if they can't decide what color to make the base?

I agree thay should just put them in clear. Loving your Kleancolor Army posts.
ReplyDeletepretty nice :)
ReplyDeleteWhat if it was a clear base but some of the glitter color came off and mixed to make that brown? I don't know why they would make the base that color.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you.
ReplyDeleteThis glitter is not so bad, I think I like it! :D
XD I like how you describe things, so funnyXD I must agree that some polishes have makers' additional unnecessary efforts which make the polishes look meh;p If you used it on darker brownie polish, the goopness appears less?? So beautifully applied as usual;D
ReplyDeleteThe same thing happened to me but mines were originally in a clear base. They turn color after a while and it's not long because mines are only 3 months old.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cat. I'm afraid Im getting down to the dreggy ones now!
ReplyDeletePoetic Realist. Hmmm, could be. I have no way of seeing another, newer bottle to know for sure.
Thx Minnie ;)
Thnx Enamel, LadyLuck and Raine!
I think it looks very nice. I own this one from Kleancolor and haven't used it yet.
ReplyDeleteLove this combination. Love all of that glitter.
