1940's Housewife

My fabulous 1940's house dress.
I don't normally 'do' pink, but this is more of a mauve.    You need to click to see the photo bigger, but the pockets are fabulous with each pointing into a sharp triangle.  It's also 70 years old, has a fabulous 40's floral pattern and it's in excellent condition.  And it only cost me $30.
Bargain much?

Excuse the belt.  First of all, it's horrid but it was the only blue belt in my wardrobe.  Second, it's off centre.....the husband never thinks to tell me these things.

40's Dress: HolliePoint
Shoes: Miss L Fire
Bag: 60's wicker
Belt: 80's elastic

  16. I recently had my first IVF Success Stories, and it was a great experience. I was fortunate enough to have a very supportive partner and doctor who encouraged me to do everything I could to get pregnant, including getting tested for any genetic conditions that might affect the health of our child. Our doctor also provided us with lots of information about how IVF works and what we could expect during the process.
